Heaven. A reminiscence from Belle Époque.
The Heaven Cabaret was a well-known cabaret in Paris around 1900. The main entrance was located at 53 Boulevard de Clichy in Paris. Just a few metro stations from where I lived for few years. So much good memories are still there!
You were entering to the Cabarets of Heaven and Hell, gaping wide-open all in a row, through monumental jaws of Leviathan, devourer of the damned. The intimidating facade was "a stucco ode to female nudity being devoured by infernal flames."
