A Bizarre Torment
My Dearest,
Let's go deeper in this introduction to my world of fetish and sissy art. When I am drawing, I float between erotic fantasy and cruel rough sex. We say pleasure is Hell: Let's pass the gates together.
This bi-monthly newsletter is a diary of what’s turn me on. It will be quick to read, like two ideas in two minutes. So for this second shot, it will be Torment and Bizarre. The title always says it all.
Torment
Kinky evils liberated in erotic drawings
I have started writing and drawing a new season of White Hole! After Medusa's head in season 1, the new season is about Pandora's box. I work on both the text and the image to build the script.
What is it about? About men killing the thing they love. About 7 hours in my life where I accept to see seven men? And, as we just pass Easter, let's say it is about torment, sex, and redemption.
The seasons of White Hole are connected in a thematic rather than in a narrative sense. Here, Sissi confronts her fears, the Pandora's box, a gods' artifact containing the evils of the world.
Desperate acts of love, sex, and friendship
"People can’t live alone, but they can’t live together either. This is why my movies are so desperate." — Rainer Werner Fassbinder
I have a fascination for Fassbinder's life and the extreme play of the actors in his films. He was known to cast family, friends and lovers. He tormented, tortured them. Too much love will kill you…
The muse and the monster — The Guardian
Fassbinder tormented his actors, threw drinks at his cameraman, and died of an overdose at 37, leaving behind two dead lovers…
Bizarre
You are about to discover how much I love vintage fetish magazines. It is a big part of my inspiration. And, it is great to revisit Bizarre Magazine early covers through this article of Cvlt Nation.
1940s Fetish: The first 26 BIZARRE Magazine Covers – CvltNation.com — cvltnation.com
In the 1940s, a man named John Alexander Scott Coutts became the first editor of the fetish periodical Bizarre Magazine…
The Art of John Willie
John Alexander Scott Coutts was the photographer, illustrator, editor and creator of the fetish periodical Bizarre Magazine, 26 issues between 1946–1956 under the name John Willie.
Bizarre Magazine was a small format, it had a huge impact on fetish publications later on, and still now. I discovered Bizarre in a complete reprint, published by Taschen in the 2000s.
Here ends this Bizarre issue! Next one is about A Dominatrix Anatomy…
Love always,
Sissi
